The Valiant in the Spotlight:
Herald Sun Feature
We’re thrilled to share that The Valiant has been featured in the Herald Sun! It’s an incredible honor to be recognized by such a prestigious publication, and we couldn’t be more excited to spread the word about our unique cocktail bar.
The Hidden Gem
The Herald Sun article, written by Kara Monssen, captures the essence of The Valiant beautifully. It highlights our “hidden” status in the CBD, a characteristic we’re proud of. While some might argue that our shimmying disco ball ceiling and throbbing neon blue sign are clear giveaways, owner Simon Kouba believes the giant carpark mural by local artist Danielle Weber is the biggest clue of all. Simon describes the journey to find us perfectly: “You’ll see the disco balls from the street, and before you hit Roti Bar, then you’ll see a painting on the side of the wall, then you have to get to level one. It’s very hard to find.”
Find Us if You Can
The Herald Sun article wraps up with a perfect summary: “This new city cocktail bar is pulling out all stops to get people in the door — with great-value happy hours, date night deals, and free snacks. The only catch? You have to find it.” We’re located at the corner of Little Collins and Queen streets, CBD, and we’re open Tues to Thurs from 4pm, and Sat from noon.
Thank you to Kara Monssen and the Herald Sun for featuring us.
We can’t wait to welcome more of you to discover the magic of The Valiant. Come find us, and experience the best-hidden cocktail bar in Melbourne.
